INN Program 2025

“Innovation Fest 2025” officially launched its journey in December 2024  as an open call for ambitious students in more than 13 universities in city of Tirana. Over the course of two months, the project was presented in 25 different events, reaching over 2,000 university students across Albania.

More than 500 applications were received, demonstrating both interest and potential within the student community.

The applications went through an evaluation process – a panel of experts, mentors, and investors reviewed all submissions, narrowing the field to the top 20 teams.

Mentoring & Bootcamp: Over several weeks, participants engaged in 10 comprehensive training modules, covering business strategy, product development, go-to-market planning, and pitch preparation.

  • By January 30, the first official activity took place – a dynamic event focused on the entrepreneurial mindset, combined with a social gathering that encouraged students to connect, collaborate, and begin forming their teams.

This was followed by two intensive workshops in February:

  • On February 18, participants dove into problem identification and idea definition.

By February 25, they were guided through how to transform an idea into a structured business plan, while also being introduced to the full workshop series planned for the coming months.

Investor Engagement: Throughout the preparation phase, teams received targeted coaching and feedback from some of the people with the most influence in online business and freelancing;

  • Blendi Salaj
  • Amarildo Sterkaj
  • Sara Karaj
  • Firdeus Kasaj

And a powerful team of mentors:

  • Davide Barbieri – Former Google executive and international business founder
  • Greta Harapaj – Brand-building expert with over 9 years of experience in Albania’s digital economy
  • Part-time mentors from leading tech and commerce companies in Albania, including TOK Digital, Rubicon, Paysera, and IutePay, all members of the Albanian E-Commerce Association.
